Downtown Chattanooga - Tennessee Riverpark

The Tennessee Aquarium, Riverwalk, Coolidge Park, Renaissance Park, Ross's Landing and Walnut Street Bridge are all in one area in Downtown Chattanooga. To really take in all the city offers, make sure to allow at least a long weekend. Even then, you may find yourself planning another trip back in order to see all Chattanooga offers.

Some Chattanooga highights:

Tennessee Aquarium: A great salt and sweet water exhibit offers a ton of fun for kids and grown ups.

River Gorge Explorer: This boat trip offers breathtaking views of Tennessee's beautiful and rocky river gorge. Sunset cruises also available.

Walnut Street Bridge: The longest walking bridge in the US spans the Tennessee River. Very popular with pedestrians and bikers.

Ross's Landing: A fun place to hang out by the river, hosts many concerts and events — right next to the Aquarium.

Renaissance Park: Great restaurants, beautiful views of TN River, fun area to walk around and see some art.

Tennessee Riverwalk: 13 miles of paved trail along the Tennessee River from Ross's landing to the Chickamaga Dam. Perfect for jogging, biking, rollerblading, walking. Path offers several restrooms along the way with drinking water, vehicle parking areas every few miles, a couple of parks, swamps, bridges, etc.
